DateAreaChange
Oct 31KalderaKaldera now runs Yellowstone gRPC 16.2.0 (was 16.1.5): fromSlot works only on the first request of a stream, and at confirmed and finalized commitment a slot's status updates now arrive after the slot's data.
Oct 31My AccountBilling shows the date your card is next charged. When you pay with USDC for the same plan as your card plan, the next card charge moves to after the USDC time, and Billing says so.
Oct 31My AccountThe renewal date in Plan Info is the same as the date Stripe bills, and Billing says that new payments show in Transactions within 10 minutes.
Oct 31PlansWhen you pay for a plan during its trial, you get the email that confirms the paid plan.
Oct 31Solana RPCJito bundles: sendBundle, getBundleStatuses and getInflightBundleStatuses in the Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York regions spend less time on our servers before each request goes on to Jito.
Oct 30Solana RPCStaked sendTransaction in the Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York regions spends less time on our servers before each transaction is sent on.
Oct 30My AccountMy Account is now four pages, under My Account at the top of the site: Account Info (email, username, change your password), Billing (your plan, payment method, all payments, Rewards and Referrals), Endpoints (your API key, endpoint URLs and ShredQuasar) and My Usage (the Upstream and Jito Relay charts). Old My Account links open the right page.
Oct 30My AccountOn the Billing page, card payers see the email they used in Stripe, Manage billing opens your own Stripe page with no sign-in, and Cancel subscription opens Stripe's cancel step for your plan. Transactions lists every card and USDC payment, with a link to its Stripe invoice or Solana transaction.
Oct 29PlansThe sustained rate for older transactions (getTransaction) in the Nexus plan is now 3 rps, down from 10 rps. A key over it is slowed step by step over 7 days, never cut off. See Upstream limits.
Oct 29PlansAn upgrade to a higher plan now takes your unused time off the price. With USDC, the pricing page and the checkout show your upgrade price: the new plan's price minus the unused part of your current plan. With a card, the pricing page shows what your card pays now, and Upgrade now changes your card plan for exactly that amount. Adding time to the same plan still costs the full or discounted price.
Oct 29PlansPay for a plan with USDC and a discount code, and your account gets its own discount code with the same discount and no end date. USDC plans do not renew by themselves, so paste your code on the pricing page each time you pay. The code is emailed to you and shown on My Account. Card plans keep their discount on the card subscription, as before.
Oct 29DocsPlans & Limits shows rates as rps. Burst and sustained rates show as two numbers, such as 20/5 rps. Upstream limits shows Burst and Sustained side by side for each plan.
Oct 29DocsSending transactions has a Durable nonces section: Solana's plan to remove them, the replacement and what changes for RPC clients.
Oct 29WebsiteOn the pricing cards, SWQoS, getSFA History, getTFA History (getTransactionsForAddress) and Cube Runner Block Lookup link to their docs pages. Rates marked * are burst rates; the sustained rates are on Plan Limits. Plan Limits shows burst / sustained in one box for the methods in purple and groups the Jito relay methods in green, each group with an info box at the top. The pricing cards and Plan Limits give rates as requests per second, for example 200 rps, and burst / sustained as 20/5 rps.
Oct 29PlansUpstream limits are now a burst rate and a sustained rate on each plan. The burst rate is the plan rate, as before. The sustained rate is the most a key can average over 24 hours, all regions together: staked sendTransaction 0.25/s (Operator), 2/s (Blade Runner) and 5/s (Nexus); older signatures (getSignaturesForAddress) 2/s, older transactions (getTransaction) 10/s and getTransactionsForAddress 3/s (Nexus). A key over its sustained rate is slowed step by step over 7 days, never cut off. Staked sends are no longer listed as unlimited per month. The global limits and the line of 3,000,000 staked sends per month per region no longer decide which keys are slowed.
Oct 29WebsiteWhen you are signed in on constant-k.com, the support desk signs you in by itself, with no click. View your ticket links in support emails now open the ticket on phones too.
Oct 29PlansUpstream limits: a limited API key is no longer stopped when it reaches its 24-hour limit on older signatures (getSignaturesForAddress), older transactions (getTransaction) and getTransactionsForAddress. It keeps its allowed rate: a request waits up to 3 s (5 s for getTransactionsForAddress) for the key's next turn, and the key can save up to 1 hour of its allowed calls for a burst.
Oct 29WebsiteThe site menu has a Support item with Docs, Open a Ticket and Contact Us under it, laid out like Products. On phones the menu scrolls with the page, so every item can be reached, and a tap outside the menu closes it.
Oct 28My AccountIn the Jito Relay section, an account without an API key now sees which plans include bundles, not a message that the data is not available.
Oct 28PlansThe global limits are shared out again between the methods, based on recent use. Staked sendTransaction always keeps at least half. Per day: staked sendTransaction 1,449,000 (was 1,946,000), getSignaturesForAddress 348,000 (was 440,000), getTransaction 311,000 (was 215,000), getTransactionsForAddress 55,000 (was 57,000), getBlock 16,000 blocks (was 2,000).
Oct 28DocsJito bundles: the Help raise the limit section is removed.
Oct 27Solana RPCsendBundle, getBundleStatuses and getInflightBundleStatuses are served on the rpc-<region> hostnames only. The staked-rpc-<region> hostnames now refuse them. Bundles always went straight to the Jito Block Engine, so the relay does not change.
Oct 27My AccountEvery account now has the ShredQuasar section: your ShredQuasar services, or a link to a free trial of 1 hour and the plans. The left menu keeps the section you click marked.
Oct 27WebsiteSign in to the support desk with your constant-k account: no second password. Your name, email and plan carry over, and changes to your account reach the support desk within a minute.
Oct 27WebsiteNew support desk: open a ticket and follow it on the web or by email, on desktop and phone. Open Ticket in the site menu, after Docs, leads there. The menu now fits at every screen width, and product names in the phone menu are no longer cut off.
Oct 27PlansUpstream limits are on for staked sends and history lookups (getSignaturesForAddress, getTransaction, getTransactionsForAddress). The heaviest users' 24-hour average is lowered step by step over 7 days; burst rates do not change.
Oct 27Cube RunnerThe monthly allowance of older blocks resets on each API key's own monthly term, on the same day and time as the plan's renewal date. An API key without a paid plan term, such as a trial key, resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
Oct 27DocsChangelog page published, with changes since Sep 28.
Oct 27DocsUpstream limits page published. Plan burst rates always apply; a global monthly limit on upstream calls limits only the heaviest users' 24-hour average.
Oct 27My AccountNew Jito Relay section: the share of bundles relayed, send and landing bars, and a 24-hour history for each API key.
Oct 27My AccountThe Upstream section shows three panels and a graph for each method, and each API key's own Cube Runner monthly term.
Oct 27Solana RPCsendBundle: an API key with no bundle for 24 hours starts over at the full plan rate.
Oct 26Solana RPCsimulateBundle available. Measured warm simulations: 2–5 ms.
Oct 26Solana RPCsendBundle landing rate: when fewer than half of an API key's recent bundles land, its rate and relay share fall, and its bundles are simulated before relay. Bundles from keys whose bundles land are not simulated and never wait.
Oct 26PlanssimulateBundle, getBundleStatuses and getInflightBundleStatuses limits: Operator 5/s, Blade Runner 25/s, Nexus 100/s.
Oct 26DocsHosting Providers page published: hosting provider, data center and sign-up link for each region.
Oct 25Solana RPCsendBundle plan rates: Operator 1 every 2 s, Blade Runner 2/s, Nexus 5/s, with a weighted fair queue for each region's relay.
Oct 25Solana RPCExact duplicate bundles are refused for 60 seconds per region. When several versions of one trade arrive, the version with the best tip plus priority fee is relayed.
Oct 25DocsJito bundles: relay rate of 5/s per region, the duplicate rule, the 1-second turn wait and one version per trade.
Oct 24DocsJito bundles page published: relay, limits, taking turns and raising the rate.
